The Office of Tailored Access Operations (TAO), now Computer Network Operations, is a cyber-warfare intelligence-gathering unit of the National Security Agency (NSA). TAO identifies, monitors, infiltrates, and gathers intelligence on computer systems being used by entities foreign to the United States.
