The First Telephone Call Sent Around the World. The First Telephone Call Sent Around The World Occurred in The Long Lines Building at 32 Sixth Avenue In NYC. WS Gifford and TG Miller of AT&T took part in a Historic Phone Call. Speaking on the phone from offices just 50 Feet Apart, the Call was transmitted over a Telephone Circuit that Stretched Approximately 23,000 Miles Around The World.
