Passengers on American, Delta, Northwest, Republic, Trans World Airlines and United Airlines flying across the North American continent were able to call anywhere in the United States. The cost was $7.50 for the first three minutes and $1.25 for each additional minute, with conversations limited to 45 minutes. Telephone equipment was supplied by Airfone Inc., of Oak Brook, IL.
